Oh my gosh! That is almost funny….in a sick sort of way!
June 4th, 2008 at 4:18 am
Yeah.. Cats and dogs think the same way. (We have mice and rats.)
June 4th, 2008 at 4:30 am
Your explanation was absolutely necessary. Hate to tell you, but it will probably continue past two.
Thanks for the smile!
My WW shot is up here:

June 4th, 2008 at 7:37 am

June 4th, 2008 at 8:16 am

Happy WW!
June 4th, 2008 at 9:27 am
Aren’t two-year-olds the most adorable species?
June 4th, 2008 at 10:39 am
Aww poor hamster!
Hope he (or she!) survived without injury!
June 4th, 2008 at 10:55 am
Aw, poor hamster! (Although I admit I’ve been tempted to get a hamster, put it in a ball, and entertain my cats. :-)
Peace - D
June 4th, 2008 at 11:27 am
Um yeah, precisely why I never leave the hamster in her ball unsupervised.
June 4th, 2008 at 11:32 am
Do I laugh or call Animal Rescue? I think I will just laugh.
June 4th, 2008 at 11:47 am
So true. Happy WW!
June 4th, 2008 at 11:49 am
. . . and I thought I had problems!
Amazing what goes through a two year old’s mind.
June 4th, 2008 at 12:16 pm
I’m guessing he wasn’t trying to feed and water the gerbil(?). Yikes!
Happy WW.
June 4th, 2008 at 12:24 pm
Oh my! lol Great picture! Hopefully, the little critter is a tough one and enjoys his travels! Have a wonderful day!
June 4th, 2008 at 12:54 pm
Happy WW
June 4th, 2008 at 1:06 pm
We had one of those rolling hamster thingys!
And your poor soul! Who talked you into the hamster? I am sensing Jacqui!
I will never get another one again! Once they taste freedom they become houdinis! And a loose hamster is the same as having a mouse loose in your house!
Happy WW!
June 4th, 2008 at 1:17 pm
Hahahahahahahahahahaha!
That. Is. Awesome.
Can’t wait to hear more about getting the hamster!
June 4th, 2008 at 1:49 pm
I guess you could call this a hamster roller coaster…
Happy WW!
June 4th, 2008 at 2:32 pm
Hahaha! Poor little hamster!
June 4th, 2008 at 2:34 pm
LOL although I shouldn’t be! I can just imagine the grin on the two year olds face when he kicks it!
June 4th, 2008 at 3:29 pm
Is this a specialized Jacqui/Kyle version of “If you give a Hamster a cookie”–
similar to “If you give a moose a cookie”?
June 4th, 2008 at 4:11 pm
Oh the poor thing! Yeah, I could see Becca doing the same thing, unfortunately. For the hamster anyway (one big reason we don’t have any). I hope yours is ok!
June 4th, 2008 at 6:08 pm
I remember having a hamster and one of those things. It was so fun to watch it run into things. Remember also stairs are not their friend. :[
June 4th, 2008 at 9:03 pm
LOL Yep, I can see a problem arising.
June 4th, 2008 at 9:24 pm
Oh my! Yup, gotta watch out for that. Hope you like your new furry friend.
June 4th, 2008 at 10:57 pm
HA HA, I bet your little one would LOVE to give the pet some exercise…
June 5th, 2008 at 7:01 pm
Hee hee. This brought back so many memories of my childhood hamsters and their ball. It used to drive my grandpa’s dog insane, until one day she figured out how to open it. She played a good wet game of “fetch” with the hamster but (amazingly) did it no harm.

See there’s a coincidence, we just welcomed two new baby guinea pigs into our house (well, our garden). They are adorable, though they do bite….ack.
